Jennifer Quail

Jennifer Quail is the author of Strange Roads: Book I of Omens in the Night, The Demon That Is Dreaming: Book II of Omens in the Night, the short stories Waking Nights (Dreams of Decadence Magazine) and Number Nine Penwiper Mews (Amazon.com), and the forthcoming Night Train to Cherbourg.  She honed her craft by writing fan fiction under the pen name ImperialGirl, including one of the most popular Girl Genius fics, On Her Undying Majesty's Secret Service.  Her interests besides writing include horse racing (she owns both a retired racehorse. Lucky To Cope, and shares of two actively-racing horses, Metaboss and Arlington House), traveling by train, steampunk, collecting unusual cookbooks, and dealing with dogs, cats, goats, ducks, and a Betta fish named Guppy.
